About this programme:

The DHL Finance Graduate Programme provides our graduates with placement opportunities across a number of core finance activities, and range from placements on sites, in our head offices to working in one of our regional Finance teams.  Building on your experience during the programme, you may start off as a Finance Assistant, progressing to Business Analyst or Assistant Finance Manager, and Finance Manager. Each placement is tailored to meet the individual development needs of the graduate and to support them in building their professional experience. 

As with all of our graduate programmes, you will benefit from working within a variety of business sectors which will include working with some of DHL’s high profile customers in our Consumer and Life Sciences, Engineering, and Manufacturing & Transport, Energy and Chemical sectors.

To support your development, you will receive a range of learning & development opportunities, through formal workshops, ‘on the job’ training and the opportunity to work on real life business projects. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to study towards your CIMA qualification.

36 months - to include 3 placements, lasting 12 months each



Starting salary is £26k per annum- includes regular salary reviews and increments based on passing stages of your CIMA qualification


What type of person is suited for this role:

- 2:1 or above degree classification (predicted or obtained at the time of application) in Finance or Business-related subject (strong focus on finance or accountancy modules is essential)

- Strong interest and motivation to start and develop a career within the logistics / supply chain industry in the UK market

- Relevant work experience in a Finance role is an advantage

- Passion for providing an excellent service to our customers, with innovative ideas and practical solutions

- Fully mobile to travel within the UK (graduates will be required to relocate for their placements whilst on the programme)

- Must hold a valid UK driving licence at the start of the programme

- Eligibility to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme

- Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills (Microsoft Excel)

- Must be fluent in English

- Enthusiastic and open-minded in getting the most out of the programme

- Sensitive to diverse working teams and environments
