Industrial Placement
The majority of our Industrial Placements are within Operations Management (but not restricted to), where you will get to experience our business at the front end. For example, you could be working in a warehouse as a team leader, or in the transport office as a transport planner. These are hands on roles which will develop your work related skills but also focus on developing you as a person.
Those who successfully complete their Industrial Placements are encouraged to apply for the Graduate Program.
Duration
12 months (starting Summer 2012).
Program Structure
One 12 month placement usually within one site or geographic location.
Location
Various across the UK. Examples of previous locations include South East, East Anglia, North West and North East.
Rewards & Benefits
Applies to UK only. Current salary is £15,000 per annum with 25 days holiday plus additional benefits.
Training & Development
On the job training, supported by two management skills workshops which encourage team working and effective communication.
You will also have the opportunity to get involved in a community project.
Entry Requirements
Due to academic requirements this is currently only available within the UK.
You must be an undergraduate studying a sandwich degree at University and be required to complete a 12 month work placement for your 3rd year.
You must also be geographically flexible.
Process
The first step is to complete an online application. If your application is successful you will be invited to complete online tests and finally a one day assessment centre.
